About me:
Hello there! My name is Marcus Seeger and I am a game designer and developer with a passion for creating immersive experiences. I am currently a student at NYU's Tisch School of The Arts, studying game design, and I have been making games since 2019.
Recently, I was fortunate to break into the professional game industry through my Game Design Internship @ F84 Studio. I worked on the studio's top performing Roblox games and was given my very own game jam in which I created a new Fortnite Deathrun experience.
Starting out in game design, I saw huge potential in the hyper-casual market. Hyper-casual games accumulate a large number of downloads and often dominate the charts. I decided to start experimenting with this format because it was the perfect entryway into game development and production.
My work in the hyper-casual genre has been tremendously important to my growth as a developer. I have created and published seven 3D hyper-casual games on the App Store. My games have generated 3000+ downloads,
My career in the hyper-casual sphere has been highly rewarding, and I thoroughly enjoy hearing feedback from users who have had the chance to play my games. In the future, I look forward to creating even more immersive and exciting experiences for gamers.
Inside of the classroom I have gained experience writing and developing computer games. In my "Game Projects" section, you will find games such as "TimeOps" and "The Devoids" which were final projects for some of my courses. I am always working on new projects. Right now, I am creating an action/adventure game for the PC in my Action Game Studio class. Additionally, I am creating a new Hyper-Casual game that I pitched to Voodoo.io.
Some of my favorite games include God of War, The Last of Us, Spider-Man, Valorant, Borderlands, Warcraft III, Red Dead Redemption, Call of Duty, Uncharted, and Mortal Kombat.
