Play Cats: Friends Rescue
Roblox Game
During my enriching internship at F84 Games, I assumed a pivotal role in conceptualizing and bringing to life various intricate elements within their successful Roblox game, "Play Cats: Friends Rescue".
Responsibilities:
- Performed R&D to support the teams design process
- Took the lead in crafting the design for an innovative Daily Rewards Mechanic, and subsequently authored meticulous design documents outlining its implementation and functionality.
- Created Wireframes for UI design for Daily Reward System
- Led level design process of multiple distinct segments (Secret Boxing Cat Rooms, Section 1 of upcoming Floor 4 release, and Section 3 of upcoming Floor 4 release)
- Conceptualized & documented new potential Cat Skins and their appropriate themed rooms
- Proficiently utilized Jira to generate comprehensive tickets, facilitating clear and effective communication with both the Programming and Art teams. This approach ensured a smooth and streamlined integration of various features.

Daily Reward Mechanic:
I was assigned the responsibility of creating a feature aimed at enhancing day 1 user retention for new players. Following thorough research and analysis, I presented the idea of implementing a "Daily Rewards" mechanic to the team. After receiving approval, I proceeded to intricately integrate this mechanic into the game's theme.
The resultant concept takes shape as a distinctive "Golden Locker/Lunchbox" system. Within this framework, players receive rewards for logging into the game on consecutive days, with the rewards progressively improving as they continue to return. This approach not only incentivizes daily engagement but also creates a thematic link between the rewards and the game world.
Within first day of Daily Reward Mechanic release, a user purchased an entire month of rewards using the new system
